Lexi Meace started her brand after finding a passion in the limitless opportunities in crochet and knitwear. As a self taught artist, she began to experiment with organic shapes within her work. She avoided pre-made patterns by free-handing all of her crochet work from scratch. Lexi finds inspiration in vintage and antique fashion trends, as well as trends from the early 2000’s and 2010’s, when she grew up. She is inspired by the clash of pretty and punk, quite like one of her main inspirations, Betsey Johnson. She is also inspired by femininity and artists like Thierry Mugler and Alexander McQueen, who are masters at dressing and designing for the female figure. She strives to make women feel elegant and sexy by adding elements of sound, light, and beading into her work.

Malice Threads by Lexmeace is about freehanded and experimental handmade crochet fashions for femmes with malice intent or those who love to make an effortless and elegant statement.

FAQs

Can I wash crochet pieces?

In most cases, yes! Any pieces that do not have beading can be washed, I recommend putting them in a laundry bag or pillow case and set the washer to a gentle cycle. Use a dime sized amount of  detergent.

To dry, lay the pieces out FLAT do not hang them!
